We require a Senior Security Solution Architect to act on behalf of a leading Global Managed Service Provider advising key clients and accountable for providing high-quality consultancy, design and implementation services across a wide scope of networking and security technologies for customers. Responsibilities include advisory and consulting, technical assessments, complex design and implementation supervision, migrations and/or transition planning, standards validation and development, technical documentation, training, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Expertise required:
- Solid experience of working with Enterprise clients advising on best of breed solutions
- Expert level experience of working on client RFI’s / RFP’s.
- JD is attached – role is expected to be 60/20//20 split between presales/delivery/practice improvement.
- Typical engagements will relate to migrations to SASE based environments, audit/discovery exercises, security assessments (knowledge of NIST/MITRE frameworks very beneficial) & Cloud security.
- Able to dovetail closely with peers in SASE / Wan / SDWAN teams

- 10 years+ experience with a background across consultancy, project delivery and operations, able to demonstrate leadership skills within each area across custom and complex solutions.
- Strong understanding of technologies such as SDWAN and SASE.
- Relevant industry/vendor experience/certifications on Versa, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5 and Juniper products.
- In-depth understanding of data communications, security and networking technologies in an enterprise business environment, including datacentre, wide area networking and campus technologies.
- Ability to work and collaborate with virtual teams including pre-sales and build/implementation teams.
- Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation) able to evangelize to all levels of customer stakeholder, for example to be able to talk at a deep technical level to customer architects, and around business benefits to CXO level.
- Able to produce and present flowing and articulate presentations, to control the flow and delivery of content to diverse audiences at customer meetings and seminars
- Good experience of using consultative approach and engagement styles.
- Demonstrable experience in developing high-end infrastructure security solutions.
- Demonstrable experience in the IT industry with blue-chip clients – should be a trusted and respected TDA as well as a technical advisor both to the customer and to his/her peers, an ability to inspire confidence is essential.
- The ability to document solution components in a timely manner while ensuring acceptable level of detail, data integrity, and accountability.
Predominantly remote based with occasional travel to a MSP or client site as the contract requires.
