We seek an experienced Network Security professional with solid expertise around the Fortinet Security portfolio to work for our client, a leading Global Managed Service provider and act as the Security Service overlay consultant for a Global Petrochemical / Manufacturing client. The consultant will offer constant “best of breed” advice across the clients’ security infrastructure

The role will suit someone that has moved from a technical career that wants to undertake a more “advisory” centric role in the future and provide consulting assurance to help the client to develop and grow their Security infrastructure by offering strategic development advice .

There will be the need for weekly meetings with the client security manager, mostly remote but with occasional travel to the client’s London office for quarterly service reviews etc. The role will act as the lead for client security challenges and escalate back to the support business any issues.

The client is a global multi-business Petrochemical / Manufacturing client, constantly expanding and will require touch points across the world, and multiple businesses within the brand.

• Fortinet on prem firewalls
• Fortinet Access Gateways
• Fortinet VPNs
• Additional bespoke Fortinet Solutions
• Opta Active Directory Integration
• Solid Cloud presence (nice to have)
• WAN connections

Summary of the role

• Technical Service Overlay role / lead client QBRs
• Have worked in a Senior Support / Technical engineering capacity in the past working with the Fortinet portfolio
• Have worked in an advisory capacity for a Global Client on behalf of a MSP
• Work with internal MSP architects to build new best of breed client propositions
• Work closely with the client to understand user challenges / stories and what “good” looks like to pull together the information to define solutions to the challenges.
• MSP background
• ITIL service training beneficial
