Network Analyst - Cisco - CCNP
London
Financial Services Network Support Experience beneficial
£40,000 to £50,000 dependent upon experience
Network Analyst - Cisco - CCNP required by a rapidly growing global VAR and Managed Service Provider who are hugely successful in providing client led solutions and backed up by holding tier 1 status with many of the major vendors. An exceptional level of customer support, pro-actively informing clients of issues, answering questions and providing ownership for resolving all incidents and problems ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed appropriately.
Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date and that both the team and the client are kept fully informed. Typical duties will include:

  • 2nd/3rd Line support for all Cisco Networking tasks 80%
  • Solid exposure to LAN switching
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Logging and documenting all tasks ensuring timely updates via email, telephone and face to face.
  • Support and update customers on incident progress and planned actions
  • Providing senior level technical assistance on all Cisco Networking related matters
  • Be the central owner and coordinator for all internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing 3rd party support calls to resolutio
  • Some project tasks and responsibilities. 20%

Skills & Experience

  • Cisco CCNP qualified/level with solid working and demonstrable practical understanding and experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills coupled with an appetite for developing their knowledge.
  • A helpful manner and approach coupled with the ability to deliver whilst also having
  • The ability to learn things quickly and have a sharp eye for detail.
  • Experience and understanding of IT incident management
  • Experience and understanding of IT change management
  • Highly motivated and flexible
  • Good time management, organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and to take the lead where required but also to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and take pride in receiving positive client feedback.

Salary & Benefits
The role is paying in the region of c£40,000 to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits
